As some of you may know, Microsoft is ending support for Windows 7 in January 2020.

This means that Microsoft will no longer have a dedicated support team providing security and functionality updates to computers running Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Ultimate, etc.  However, you can pay Microsoft a fee for continued support of your existing Windows 7 systems, or buy an upgrade to Windows 10.

As most users are not happy with Windows 10 and the costs and issues included in the latest version, I am offering a cheaper, more robust alternative to Windows: Zorin Linux.

Zorin Linux is based on a popular distribution of Debian Linux called Ubuntu.  This means Zorin users will have two major software repository and one system-specific repository to install from, giving a wider range of free applications to easily install, without the risks associated with download software from Internet sites.

Office and productivity suites are already included and are over 90% compatible with Microsoft Office documents.  Zorin Linux also includes a tool called 'Wine', which lets you run most Windows 7/8/10 software titles straight on your Linux desktop as you would any other Windows program.  These titles include well known games and utilities.

I am offering a Zorin upgrade with data migration for just £50.  I can also take some time to ensure the software titles you require are all installed and working for a further £20.

Without the worries of Windows support ending and viruses decimating your system, this is the perfect time to upgrade away from Microsoft Windows in to the every growing world of Linux users.
